Pope Greyhounds Varsity stole the lead late and defeated Lassiter Trojans Varsity 3-1 on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Pope Greyhounds Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Kent Schmidt doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
