Boys Varsity Golf, Girls Varsity Golf · Golf Senior Spotlight

Here is this week’s Senior Spotlight for Boys and Girls Golf.

Senior Kelsey Hill
Kelsey has been playing golf for Pope since her Sophomore year and has lettered all 3 years. Her favorite part of golf season is making new relationships. Her favorite memory is raiding the food at the St. Pius X par 3 tournament. In the fall she will be attending the South Caroline. #kelseyhillisawesome

I can remember when Kelsey first joined the golf team, with her outgoing personality and wild humor.  She makes everyone laugh, smile and feel part of the team.  One of the best examples of her humor, was part of her favorite memory stuffing her bag with snacks and food from that tournament, it was hilarious site to see. #memories

Senior Eric Hayashi
Eric has been playing golf for about 7 years and this is his 3rd year at Pope. His favorite part of golf season is being able to play golf and getting a tan. His favorite memory is going to Jekyll Island with the team. In the fall he will attend Kennesaw State University and hopefully transfer to UGA.

I have known Eric since sophomore year when he was in my world history class. Quiet guy, but sneaky clever and very funny. I wish I could have spent more time on the golf course with him and the other seniors. I know for sure there would have been plenty of memories. It’s great to hear again how much the players loved the team trip to Jekyll Island. Another great hashtag and typical Eric #pleasedontfallalseepormissyourteetime

Thank you Kelsey and Eric for you have done for our golf teams and for Pope High School. Good luck to you both and know that you will be truly missed.
