Pope Friends, Family, and Community,
We need your help to improve our stadium scoreboard. It has been over 25 years since the original scoreboard was installed in the stadium and we are in dire need of a new scoreboard. We have worked over the past few years to make a new board happen, but have been unable to find the right opportunity. Now with the help of the Pope administration and other community support we have put together a plan that we think is in the best interest of the Pope community.
This project will include a new scoreboard section as well as a 10′ x 20′ video board. Also, there will be eight (8) sponsor panels and an arched truss with Pope branding back lit on it. Further, we will install play clocks for football games in order to continue to give our players and coaches a top-notch experience while playing here at Pope.
The scoreboard will serve all groups using the stadium, which include high school football, soccer, high school lacrosse, track, band, cheerleading, junior football, junior lacrosse, and other school groups who can benefit from the new technology.
We are very excited to promote this opportunity to our stakeholders and we believe that the good folks of the Pope community will rally around this effort to make it happen financially. We are working with the central office to have this new scoreboard erected over the summer and operational by the fall sports season.
We hope that you will strongly consider donating to this project and improving the athletic experience for so many Pope student-athletes, coaches, and all the community members who come to games in the Pope stadium. All donations are made to Pope High School and any donations over the amount required for the construction of the new scoreboard will go into the Athletics account to be designated for future capital improvements on the Pope campus. If you would like to donate an amount more than the $2500 amount listed on this link, please contact Pope Athletics Director, Josh Mathews at email@example.com or 770-578-7900 x075.
Thank you in advance for your donation and making this project a reality! Go Greyhounds!
